Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Nel Parco by Franz Windhager was sold in the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction at Christies in Rome in June 2005. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 644.80. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Franz Windhager - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Reclining Nude; Woman In Blue, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,603.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Nel Parco von Franz Windhager wurde im Juni 2005 in der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO bei Christies in Rom versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 644,80 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Franz Windhager mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Reclining Nude; Woman In Blue beobachtet, die im November 2006 für GBP 1.080,00 (€ 1.603,83) versteigert wurde.
