Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19th CenturyEuropean Art, which included the work Arriving at the Inn by Franz Quaglio. The price achieved of EUR 3,125.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Franz Quaglio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Circus on the St. Jakobsplatz, Munich in April 2001 with an auction result of NLG 41,125.00 (€ 18,875.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2007 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th CenturyEuropean Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Arriving at the Inn von Franz Quaglio zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.125,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Franz Quaglio auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Circus on the St. Jakobsplatz, Munich im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 41.125,00 (€ 18.875,61).
