A top price for Franz Gertsch
In March 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Evening Auction, which included the work Luciano Ii by Franz Gertsch. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,746,250.00 (€ 3,218,333.92), 37% above the upper estimate. With this result, Luciano Ii is even the most expensive work of art by Franz Gertsch that we have observed at auctions so far.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.746.250,00 (€ 3.218.333,92) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Luciano Ii sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Franz Gertsch, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
