In the Master Paintings auction, the work Jephthah And His Daughter; Joseph And His Brothers changed hands for USD 47,500.00 (€ 40,702.66) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Franz Christoph Janneck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A musical banquet in a palace; and Elegant figures dancing and merrymaking in a palace in June 2015 with an auction result of USD 245,000.00 (€ 219,652.14).
