Auction result well in line with expectations

In October 2014 Christies in London held the auction Old Master and British Paintings, which included the work Elegant company dancing and music making in an interior; and Elegant company feasting in a terrace by Franz Christoph Janneck. It changed hands for a price of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 47,882.08) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Franz Christoph Janneck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A musical banquet in a palace; and Elegant figures dancing and merrymaking in a palace in June 2015 with an auction result of USD 245,000.00 (€ 219,652.14).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Oktober 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master and British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Elegant company dancing and music making in an interior; and Elegant company feasting in a terrace von Franz Christoph Janneck zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 47.882,08) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Franz Christoph Janneck auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A musical banquet in a palace; and Elegant figures dancing and merrymaking in a palace im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 245.000,00 (€ 219.652,14).
