The work Czech Reclining Figure (Figura V Krajině - LeÍcí) by František Muzika was sold in the Czech Avant-Garde Art from the Roy and Mary Cullen Collection auction at Sothebys in London in November 2014. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,500.58), 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by František Muzika achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Marécage V (Sumpf V) in December 2019 with an auction result of EUR 137,500.00.

Die Arbeit Czech Reclining Figure (Figura V Krajině - LeÍcí) von František Muzika wurde im November 2014 in der Auktion Czech Avant-Garde Art from the Roy and Mary Cullen Collection bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.500,58) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von František Muzika erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Marécage V (Sumpf V) im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 137.500,00.
