It achieved a price of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,643.77), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by František Muzika achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Marécage V (Sumpf V) in December 2019 with an auction result of EUR 137,500.00.

Die Arbeit Czech Figural Studies (Figurální Studie) von František Muzika wurde im November 2014 in der Auktion Czech Avant-Garde Art from the Roy and Mary Cullen Collection bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.643,77) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von František Muzika erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Marécage V (Sumpf V) im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 137.500,00.
