A top price for František Hudeček
When the work Czech park At Night (Park V Noci) by František Hudeček was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2011, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - GBP 18,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at GBP 63,650.00 (€ 70,416.89). This high result makes Czech park At Night (Park V Noci) the most expensive artwork by František Hudeček that we have observed at auctions so far.
