Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Czech Untitled (Bez Názvu) by František Gross for GBP 500.00 (€ 628.64). This price was achieved in the auction Czech Avant-Garde Art from the Roy and Mary Cullen Collection at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by František Gross achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Czech breakfast in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,189.36).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Czech Untitled (Bez Názvu) von František Gross für GBP 500,00 (€ 628,64) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Czech Avant-Garde Art from the Roy and Mary Cullen Collection bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von František Gross erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Czech breakfast im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.189,36).
