Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work La Femme avec la Cråne (Women with Skull) by František Drtikol was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in October 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,207.41). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by František Drtikol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Temná vlna (The Dark Wave), 1926 in April last year with an auction result of USD 352,800.00 (€ 334,820.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit La Femme avec la Cråne (Women with Skull) von František Drtikol kam im Oktober 2021 bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.550,00 (€ 2.207,41) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von František Drtikol erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Temná vlna (The Dark Wave), 1926 im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 352.800,00 (€ 334.820,16).
