Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work A Seated Figure by Francisco Carrasco was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2004, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 239.00 (€ 343.99). Other works by Francisco Carrasco have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2004 by the work A Seated South American Indian; And Two Further Similar at GBP 298.75 (€ 429.98).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit A Seated Figure von Francisco Carrasco im Oktober 2004 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
