This work of art by Francisco Carrasco could be acquired at Christies in London in April 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work Abstract with Llamas changed hands for GBP 120.00 (€ 177.62) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 400.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francisco Carrasco - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Seated South American Indian; And Two Further Similar, which sold at auction in October 2004 for GBP 298.75 (€ 429.98).
