Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A female nude by Frans Schwartz was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of DKK 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of DKK 10,500.00 (€ 1,409.62) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frans Schwartz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A study for one of the persons in the painting “De kloge og dårlige jomfruer”, which sold at auction in July this year for DKK 36,000.00 (€ 4,828.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A female nude von Frans Schwartz kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von DKK 10.500,00 (€ 1.409,62) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Frans Schwartz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A study for one of the persons in the painting “De kloge og dårlige jomfruer” beobachtet, die im Juli diesen Jahres für DKK 36.000,00 (€ 4.828,31) versteigert wurde.
