In March 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work A still life with flowers in a vase by Frans David Oerder. The »bidding war« ended at NLG 11,750.00 (€ 5,442.09), 68% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frans David Oerder - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A still life with pink flowers, which sold at auction in September 2010 for EUR 20,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 68 % übertroffen
Im März 2001 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit A still life with flowers in a vase von Frans David Oerder zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von NLG 11.750,00 (€ 5.442,09) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Frans David Oerder mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A still life with pink flowers beobachtet, die im September 2010 für EUR 20.000,00 versteigert wurde.
