In March 2013 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now, which included the work A Still Life With Chrysanthemums And Oak Leafs by Frans David Oerder. The auction ended at the price of EUR 5,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frans David Oerder - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A still life with pink flowers, which sold at auction in September 2010 for EUR 20,000.00.
