Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Master Pictures, which included the work A Winter River Landscape With Figures On The Outskirts of A Village, A Town Beyond by Frans de Momper. The price achieved of EUR 90,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Other works by Frans de Momper have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2007 the work A frozen winter landscape with skaters was auctioned for GBP 84,000.00 (€ 122,986.82).

Im Mai 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Master Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Winter River Landscape With Figures On The Outskirts of A Village, A Town Beyond von Frans de Momper zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 90.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Frans de Momper konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2007 die Arbeit A frozen winter landscape with skaters für GBP 84.000,00 (€ 122.986,82) versteigert.
