Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Carnations in a vase by Frans David Oerder was auctioned at Christies in London in January 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 411.25 (€ 675.69) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frans David Oerder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A still life with pink flowers in September 2010 with an auction result of EUR 20,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Carnations in a vase von Frans David Oerder kam im Januar 2002 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 411,25 (€ 675,69) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frans David Oerder erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A still life with pink flowers im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.000,00.
