Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 360.00 (€ 531.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Admittedly, works by François Théodore Rochard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A young child, facing right in pale brown coat and cream coloured collar, wearing a black hat with a red flower in July 2001 with an auction result of GBP 1,880.00 (€ 3,061.44).
