Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work Montreuil by Frank Lewis Emanuel for GBP 29.38 (€ 46.01). This price was achieved in the auction British and Continental Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 400.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Lewis Emanuel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An afternoon call in January 2005 with an auction result of GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,253.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Montreuil von Frank Lewis Emanuel für GBP 29,38 (€ 46,01) erwerben.
