In October 2012 Artcurial held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre, Serie (Tenir Debout), 2004 by Françoise Petrovitch. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,445.00 63% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Françoise Petrovitch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Poupée - 2006, which sold at auction in June this year for EUR 4,986.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 63 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2012 führte Artcurial die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre, Serie (Tenir Debout), 2004 von Françoise Petrovitch zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.445,00 und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Françoise Petrovitch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Poupée - 2006 beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für EUR 4.986,00 versteigert wurde.
