Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Revellers at a feast; and a companion painting by Frans Xavier Hendrick Verbeeck was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2007. The price achieved of USD 5,250.00 (€ 3,628.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Frans Xavier Hendrick Verbeeck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Sense of Hearing: elegant company making music in an interior; and The Sense of Taste: elegant company eating and drinking by a draped table in an interior in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 28,680.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Revellers at a feast; and a companion painting von Frans Xavier Hendrick Verbeeck kam im Oktober 2007 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.250,00 (€ 3.628,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frans Xavier Hendrick Verbeeck auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Sense of Hearing: elegant company making music in an interior; and The Sense of Taste: elegant company eating and drinking by a draped table in an interior im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 28.680,00.
