Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2012 Artcurial held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Drawings, which included the work "Frégate Portugaise Thétis. Mouillée Sur La Rade De Mont-Evideo " by François-Geoffroy Roux. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 900.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 901.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François-Geoffroy Roux achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The French barque Sénégambie in Mediterranean waters off Marseilles in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,696.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2012 führte Artcurial die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Frégate Portugaise Thétis. Mouillée Sur La Rade De Mont-Evideo " von François-Geoffroy Roux zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 900,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 901,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von François-Geoffroy Roux erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The French barque Sénégambie in Mediterranean waters off Marseilles im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.696,86).
