In June 2012 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Tableaux et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle, which included the work Jeune Femme À La Fontainefrançois Lemoyne ; Young Woman At A Fountain ; Oil On Canvas by François Lemoyne. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 150,750.00. Admittedly, works by François Lemoyne have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Adam Et Eve in June 2009 with an auction result of EUR 1,296,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2012 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Tableaux et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jeune Femme À La Fontainefrançois Lemoyne ; Young Woman At A Fountain ; Oil On Canvas von François Lemoyne zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 150.750,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von François Lemoyne auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Adam Et Eve im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.296.750,00.
