In the Modern and Contemporary Australian and South African Art auction, the work Reclining nude changed hands for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 5,514.03) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Reclining nude is the most expensive artwork by Francois Krige that we have observed at auction so far.
