In May 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Jeunes Filles À La Fontaine Donnant À Boire À Des Voyageurs, Costumes Des Environs De Fundi by François-Joseph Navez for USD 112,500.00 (€ 100,905.91). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00 set by the auction house.
