The work GABRIEL, F. by François Gabriel was sold in the The House Sale auction at Christies in New York in June 2003. The price achieved of USD 3,824.00 (€ 3,324.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, GABRIEL, F. is the most expensive artwork by François Gabriel that we have observed at auctions so far.
