In the 19th Century European Art including The Orientalist Sale auction, the work French An Evening'S Entertainment For Josephine changed hands for USD 61,000.00 (€ 39,182.94) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by François Flameng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fête vénitienne, which sold at auction in June 2019 for EUR 112,500.00.
