Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work French an Elite Soldier Of The Imperial Guard by François Flameng for USD 22,500.00 (€ 18,910.74). This price was achieved in the auction Art Treasures of America: The John F. Eulich Collection at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by François Flameng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fête vénitienne in June 2019 with an auction result of EUR 112,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit French an Elite Soldier Of The Imperial Guard von François Flameng für USD 22.500,00 (€ 18.910,74) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Art Treasures of America: The John F. Eulich Collection bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von François Flameng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fête vénitienne im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 112.500,00.
