In December 2017 Sothebys in Zurich held the auction Swiss Art / Swiss Made, which included the work Petite Savoyarde À Yvoire, 1884 by François Bocion. The »bidding war« ended at CHF 37,500.00 (€ 32,031.90), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by François Bocion have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bord Du Lac À Rivaz, 1883 in December 2015 with an auction result of CHF 187,500.00 (€ 172,374.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2017 führte Sothebys in Zürich die Auktion Swiss Art / Swiss Made durch, in der auch die Arbeit Petite Savoyarde À Yvoire, 1884 von François Bocion zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von CHF 37.500,00 (€ 32.031,90) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von François Bocion auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bord Du Lac À Rivaz, 1883 im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 187.500,00 (€ 172.374,30).
