Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by François-André Vincent could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in January 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master Drawings auction, the work Study For The Ploughing Lesson changed hands for USD 49,000.00 (€ 33,016.64) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François-André Vincent achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zeuxis Choosing His Models For The Image Of Helen From Among The Girls Of Croton in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 734,400.00 (€ 543,195.27).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Zeuxis Choosing His Models For The Image Of Helen From Among The Girls Of Croton im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 734.400,00 (€ 543.195,27).
