This artwork by François-André Vincent achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in July 2007. In the Old Master and 19th Century Drawings auction, the work Noah entering the Ark sold for GBP 13,200.00 (€ 19,605.05) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François-André Vincent achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zeuxis Choosing His Models For The Image Of Helen From Among The Girls Of Croton in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 734,400.00 (€ 543,195.27).

Dieses Kunstwerk von François-André Vincent erzielte im Juli 2007 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Drawings wurde die Arbeit Noah entering the Ark für GBP 13.200,00 (€ 19.605,05) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von François-André Vincent erzielen.
