This artwork by Franco Garelli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Milan in May 2008. In the Post War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Figura (NICOM) sold for EUR 4,160.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,800.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Franco Garelli; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Senza Titolo sold at auction in November 2006 with the realized price of EUR 6,820.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Franco Garelli erzielte im Mai 2008 bei Christies in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Figura (NICOM) für EUR 4.160,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.800,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Franco Garelli; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Senza Titolo im November 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 6.820,00.
