Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paesaggio rosso comunista (Paesaggio simbolico) by Franco Angeli was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in Milan in July last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 10,710.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franco Angeli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fiore Partigiano (Partisan Flower) in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 181,250.00 (€ 206,660.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paesaggio rosso comunista (Paesaggio simbolico) von Franco Angeli wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 10.710,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Franco Angeli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fiore Partigiano (Partisan Flower) im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 181.250,00 (€ 206.660,48).
