Auction result well in line with expectations
In September last year Bonhams in London held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work A village kermesse by Franciscus Carré. The price achieved of GBP 4,845.00 (€ 5,514.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Franciscus Carré have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2004 the work Boors smoking and drinking in an interior was auctioned for GBP 4,780.00 (€ 7,223.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A village kermesse von Franciscus Carré zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.845,00 (€ 5.514,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Franciscus Carré konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2004 die Arbeit Boors smoking and drinking in an interior für GBP 4.780,00 (€ 7.223,63) versteigert.
