In the Old Masters Online | Part I: Property from the SØR Rusche Collection | Part II: Property from Various Owners auction, the work A Fish Maid In An Interior sold for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,256.76) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Franciscus Carré - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Boors smoking and drinking in an interior, which sold at auction in July 2004 for GBP 4,780.00 (€ 7,223.63).
