This artwork by Francisco Iturrino achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2008. In the European Paintings including The Orientalist Sale, Symbolism and the Poetic Vision and Spanish Painting auction, the work Baile En El Bosque (Dancers In The Forest) sold for GBP 32,450.00 (€ 39,234.49) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francisco Iturrino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spanish manolas Outside The Bullring, which sold at auction in December 2015 for GBP 81,250.00 (€ 110,333.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Francisco Iturrino erzielte im November 2008 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion European Paintings including The Orientalist Sale, Symbolism and the Poetic Vision and Spanish Painting wurde die Arbeit Baile En El Bosque (Dancers In The Forest) für GBP 32.450,00 (€ 39.234,49) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Francisco Iturrino mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spanish manolas Outside The Bullring beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für GBP 81.250,00 (€ 110.333,59) versteigert wurde.
