The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,195.00), 43% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Francesco da Silva have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Anthropomorphic Beasts, four works in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,809.55).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.195,00) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francesco da Silva auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Anthropomorphic Beasts, four works im Juli 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.809,55).
