Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Arbre - 1964 by Francisco Borès. The price achieved of EUR 918.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francisco Borès achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La femme blonde in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 312,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Arbre - 1964 von Francisco Borès zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 918,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francisco Borès erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La femme blonde im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 312.250,00.
