In September 2002 Christies in London held the auction British and Victorian Pictures, which included the work Westminster Bridge with the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey by Francis Moltino. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,290.00 (€ 5,228.57). Other works by Francis Moltino have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 3,760.00 (€ 5,975.50) in September 2002 for the work The Royal Naval College, Greenwich, from the Thames.
