Auction result well in line with expectations

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francis Calcraft Turner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A gentleman driving in a landscape; and A lady riding with a companion in a landscape, which sold at auction in November 2002 for GBP 14,340.00 (€ 22,455.70).
