A top price for Francis Brook Chadwick
In March 2017 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work Vase de tournesols by Francis Brook Chadwick. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,591.94). With this result, Vase de tournesols is even the most expensive work of art by Francis Brook Chadwick that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Francis Brook Chadwick
Im März 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vase de tournesols von Francis Brook Chadwick zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.591,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Vase de tournesols sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Francis Brook Chadwick, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
