In the 19th Century European Art, including Spanish and Orientalist Art auction, the work The Grand Canal, Venice; The Doge's Palace, Venice sold for GBP 66,000.00 (€ 97,940.68) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesco Zanin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Venice, View Of The Palazzo Ducale; Venice, View Of The Scuola Grande Di San Marco, which sold at auction in January 2020 for USD 287,500.00 (€ 259,172.45).
