In the Old Master Paintings auction, the work A fireworks display over Saint Mark's Square, Venice sold for USD 262,400.00 (€ 205,433.34) - well above the upper estimate of USD 100,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Francesco Zanin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Venice, View Of The Palazzo Ducale; Venice, View Of The Scuola Grande Di San Marco sold at auction in January 2020 with the realized price of USD 287,500.00 (€ 259,172.45).
