Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2008 Christies in London held the auction Nineteenth Century European Art, which included the work A celebration before the Campanile; and A Venetian palace by Francesco Zanin. It changed hands for a price of GBP 29,300.00 (€ 36,808.07) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francesco Zanin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Venice, View Of The Palazzo Ducale; Venice, View Of The Scuola Grande Di San Marco in January 2020 with an auction result of USD 287,500.00 (€ 259,172.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Nineteenth Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A celebration before the Campanile; and A Venetian palace von Francesco Zanin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 29.300,00 (€ 36.808,07) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francesco Zanin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Venice, View Of The Palazzo Ducale; Venice, View Of The Scuola Grande Di San Marco im Januar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 287.500,00 (€ 259.172,45).
