Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Bonhams held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work Saint Francis by Francesco Trevisani. The price achieved of GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,359.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Trevisani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Madonna Sewing With The Christ Child in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 180,500.00 (€ 245,268.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Saint Francis von Francesco Trevisani zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.825,00 (€ 4.359,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco Trevisani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Madonna Sewing With The Christ Child im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 180.500,00 (€ 245.268,88).
