Possibly Lodovico Sergardi (1660–1726); | Possibly thence by inheritance to his nephew, Abbot Lattanzio Sergardi (b. 1695), Rome, 1727, when recorded in his inventory as a 'copia di Lucrezia, che vien dal Trevisani, ritoccato dal medesimo, in tela d'imperatore, con cornice tutt'oro scudi 15.'

Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lucretia by Francesco Trevisani was sold in the Old Masters Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in July 2019. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 13,724.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Trevisani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Madonna Sewing With The Christ Child in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 180,500.00 (€ 245,268.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lucretia von Francesco Trevisani wurde im Juli 2019 in der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 13.724,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco Trevisani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Madonna Sewing With The Christ Child im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 180.500,00 (€ 245.268,88).
