In January 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master Drawings, which included the work An Angel Kneeling In Adoration, With A Subsidiary Study Of The Angel'S Arms by Francesco Montelatici. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,557.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Montelatici achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Etude d'homme assis de profil à droite in March 2002 with an auction result of EUR 70,500.00.

Im Januar 2011 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Angel Kneeling In Adoration, With A Subsidiary Study Of The Angel'S Arms von Francesco Montelatici zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.557,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco Montelatici erzielen.
