The work A Male Nude, Leaning To One Side by Francesco Montelatici was sold in the Old Master & British Works on Paper auction at Sothebys in London in July 2019. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,293.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francesco Montelatici have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Etude d'homme assis de profil à droite in March 2002 with an auction result of EUR 70,500.00.
