In October 2010 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art, which included the work Casamicciola, Ischia by Francesco Mancini. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,306.03), 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Francesco Mancini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Grand Canal in April 2018 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 22,776.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Casamicciola, Ischia von Francesco Mancini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.306,03) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francesco Mancini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Grand Canal im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 22.776,21).
