Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Battaglia by Francesco Mancini was auctioned at Il Ponte in November 2016, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 350.00 – 400.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Mancini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Grand Canal in April 2018 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 22,776.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Battaglia von Francesco Mancini im November 2016 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 350,00 – 400,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 300,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco Mancini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Grand Canal im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 22.776,21).
